Art and Culture for Special Needs is a Ministry of Culture initiative designed to bring inclusive arts education to students with disabilities, particularly those with Down syndrome and autism. The program engages children from grades 1 to 6 in music, theater, and performing arts across public and private schools.
TalentS led the pilot phase by designing the full program framework and partnering with international experts to train 36 teachers from selected schools. The program was then implemented on the ground, providing students with hands-on creative experiences in the classroom and on stage.
The impact was significant—students showed improved confidence, communication, and social skills. Many began using facial expressions and body language more effectively and demonstrated a stronger desire to attend school, highlighting the power of the arts to foster personal growth and inclusion.
